Bedroom Dressers

Bedroom Dressers

Aside from the mattress, the essentially necessary items for bedrooms in general are bedroom dressers.  Some place to put articles of clothing is basic to nearly everyone.  With some creativity on your part you can, and for next to nothing, fill all your home’s rooms with dressers (or something similar) and stay true to your own decorative impulses in the process.

Dresser needs go more or less hand and hand with personal wardrobes.  Smaller items that don’t normally go into closets make their way into dressers or a chest of drawers.  Really, anything with drawers will do.  Many people use a nightstand or two in lieu of a dresser – there are plenty of bedroom dressers substitutes to accommodate your clothing.

Clearly, if you are looking for the perfect dresser for your bedroom, you can go straight to the designer furniture store and pick the one that cries out to be bought.  But if you are looking for more of a bargain, there are plenty of furniture outlets or warehouse stores that offer an incredible variety of bedroom dressers at rock-bottom prices.

If you are looking for bedroom dressers and the like on the extra cheap, there are tons of other ways to creatively go about your shopping.  For furniture shoppers, the tenuous state of the economy can present some real bargains.  Unfortunately for business owners, the furniture business has seen its fair share of going out of business sales.

These liquidation sales present a wonderful opportunity for you to swoop in and choose from among a variety of styles of bedroom dressers.  Many times complete sets are hard to come buy at these sales, but for picking up an individual piece – nightstand, armoire, vanity, etc. – these are the places to be.  Often you can find something that will coordinate nicely with existing décor.  Best of all, discounts of 70 to 80 percent are not uncommon.

If you are not averse to getting your hands a little dirty and you consider yourself to be handy with a brush, you can try you neighborhood garage sales as places for shopping for dressers and the like.  As tastes differ from person to person, someone’s recently replaced piece of furniture may be just what you are looking for.  A little sanding and some stain or paint can restore a perfectly good dresser in no time and for next to nothing.  Best of all, you can choose your colors to fit the design scheme of your bedroom.

For more bargain hunting, don’t forget the classifieds.  Again, the same “out with the old and in with the new” philosophy can mean big savings for you.  For just a few bucks, you might be able to find the perfect place for your clothes.  Some “sellers” are practically willing to give old dressers away if you are simply ready to go and pick it up.

Consider all the above options and more.  From the designer to the throw-away-item, the choices are plenty.  Remember, bedroom dressers can come in a variety of forms.  Use a little imagination and put your clothes where they belong.
